The Honeymooners "Slots"

Strictly Slots magazine has The Honeymooners featured on the April of 2002 cover. Shuffle Master and IGT are bringing "The Honeymooners" to the slot floors.

You can read about 60% of the article at their website.

Here is part of the article(not included at the site)that is in my magazine that tells more about how the game works.

The multidenominational game employs the standard IGT video platform, and is available in both slanttop and upright formats. Payback percentage with all paylines active ranges from around 88 to 95 percent, and the average number of spins needed to reach a bonus round is 48 (more frequent than most video slots).
Casinos will request the game to be configured for different denominations to suit their needs, with five reels allowing for a maximum of 15 paylines. "Having 15 lines gives the player a chance to win multiple ways, and for the casinos to drive the coin-in. It's always a combination of both," explains Dunn. "Casinos have to make money from the players, but the players have to have a good time. And this game provides that" An additional scatlerpay feature uses the famous image of Jackie Gleason's face grinning from inside the moon.
Animated reel symbols include the characters of Ralph and Alice
Kramden and Ed and Trixie Norton, along with icons of classic episodes: Ralph's beloved poker chips, bowling pins, billiard balls, and "Gotham Bus Company" driver's badge, among others. There are even manhole covers from a New York City sewer, where Ed Norton plied his malodorous trade. ("If pizzas were manhole covers," he once noted wistfully, "the sewer would be a paradise.")
The bonus rounds are the game's high point, and a joy to play especially for those of us who are familiar with the television show. The first bonus round, titled "Golden Moments," is triggered when three or more of the television symbols appear onscreen. Players are presented with a grid of 16 television symbols, and invited to touch them one-by-one to reveal an icon and a quote representing a film clip from the show. The idea is to match up moments from the Honeymooners Lost Episodes, and the sooner you make a matrn, the more your bet will be multiplied.
When you score a match, the frame enlarges to play the actual film clip, which contains the quote in its entirety. While most of the vintage Ralph Kramden lines ("Shaddap!", "Get Out!", "You...are a mental case!") elicit laughter, the real treat is when he delivers his famous "Baby, You're the Greatest!," embracing his wife to the applause of a "live" audience.
The other bonus round, titled "Pick A Heart," is activated by the appearance of three of more symbols depicting a bug-eyed Ralph receiving a kiss on the cheek from Alice. In this bonus round, Ralph and Alice take center stage, with six hearts throbbing on either side of them. Players touch one to reveal a random number of bonus credits. Once you've seen how many points your heart was good for, the values of the other hearts are made visible to allow you to see what could have been. (One of the screens includes a value of 30,000 credits behind a heart-a generous' bonus indeed.) The points are added to your credit total, and then it's back to the main game for more fun. ~~ Strictly Slots mag~~

I had a ball playing this slot machine on a trip to Atlantic City on June 30th - July 1, 2003 I found one at Resorts Casino, it was a nickle slot. I took a picture of it while I was there. I was almost sent to the federal pen since you're not allowed to take pictures in the casino but as Ralph would say "It's a chance I had to take." Actually, I didn't get in trouble. The security guard just told me I was not allowed to take pictures so I put the camera away after the first shot. It's was pretty cool playing it. I did get three of the TV sets so I played a bonus game of matching the famous Honeymooners lines and then you get to watch a video clip of it. I wish I could tell you what happens if you hit the "high note" jackpot of 50,000 nickles but I was not that lucky! **laughs** As Norton would say "better luck next time."

This is a picture of an advertisement for all kinds of novelty slots including "The Honeymooners" that was in the Resorts Casino.

Here is the slot machine. Even the chair has "The honeymooners" & Ralph's Moon face on it.

Good Luck playing these slots if you get a chance to. ~Ceal~
