Moonlighting

Moonlighting did a parody on The Honeymooners in the episode called:

"A Trip To The Moon"

Maddie has a dream about her relationship with David and where it is going and in it, they are characters from "The Honeymooners".  Cybill Shepard plays Alice, Bruce Willis plays Ralph, Allyce Beasley plays Trixie and Charles Rocket plays Norton.

It re-aired on Bravo Tuesday September 10, 2002

Here are some captures of the show.

Thank's so much Vicki B for Emailing me about the re-airing of this episode and sending the following information.

Bruce does pay homage to Ralph Kramden in a few other episodes, however.  In an early episode he says, "Baby, You're the Greatest" to Cybill's character after she agrees to take a case that he really wanted to work on and she really didn't.  Also, in the famous "Atomic Shakespeare" episode where the entire cast does a parody of Taming of the Shrew (Bruce plays Petruchio and Cybill plays Kate) they are having a heated argument all done in iambic pentameter when he suddenly interjects, "Bang-Zoom!  I hope they like these jokes on the moon, Kate, cause that's where you're goin'!"

I've heard Bruce say in interviews before that some of his best comic influences came from Ralph Kramden of The Honeymooners and Curly from the Three Stooges...as well as a few others.
